Privacy Policy

• You can use every part of ReadyToWeddy without creating an account.
• Your personal plan (wedding date, names, task progress, notes) is saved in your own browser, not on our servers.
• We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t show ads.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs so the site stays secure and working.

When you create a plan, ReadyToWeddy stores it in your browser’s local storage on the device you’re using. That includes the details you choose to enter: your wedding date or season, your names, answers about your wedding, task statuses, who’s handling each task, your own dates and notes, and any tasks you add.

This information is not sent to us. It stays on that device until you clear it, either from the Wedding page (“Clear the plan on this device”) or by clearing your browser’s site data. Because we don’t hold a copy, we can’t recover a plan that has been deleted on your device.

• Technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting and delivery providers automatically process technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to deliver pages, keep the Service secure and diagnose problems.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and anything you choose to include.
• No account data. We don’t currently offer accounts, so we don’t collect passwords, profiles or payment details.

Please don’t send us sensitive personal information (for example about health, religion or finances) unless it’s needed to answer your question.

• To provide, maintain and improve the Service;
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
• To reply to your messages, corrections and requests;
• To comply with our legal obligations.

We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.

We don’t set advertising or tracking cookies. The Service uses your browser’s local storage to save your plan, and a service worker to cache pages so the planner keeps working offline. Both stay on your device, and you can remove them at any time by clearing the site’s data in your browser settings.

We may add privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful, preferring tools that don’t use cookies or identify individual visitors. If we do, we’ll update this policy and name the provider here first.

You can copy a private link from the Wedding page to open your plan on another device, for example your partner’s phone. The plan is placed in the part of the link after the “#”, which browsers don’t send to any server, so the link isn’t stored by us. Anyone who has the link can open a copy of the plan, so only share it with people you trust.

Calendar files (.ics) and printed or saved PDF versions of your plan are also created on your device.

We only share limited information with service providers that help us run the Service, such as:

• Website hosting and content delivery;
• Email, for messages you send us;
• Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.

These providers may only use the information to provide their services to us. If ReadyToWeddy is ever involved in a merger or sale, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

The Service links to other websites, including GuestReel and LovelySeating, which are wedding tools made by the same team. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We aren’t responsible for the practices of websites we don’t operate.

Depending on where you live, for example under the EU or UK GDPR, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law or US state privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct or delete information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your information.

Your plan is under your control on your own device, so you can view, change or delete it there at any time. For anything else, email team@readytoweddy.com. We’ll respond within the time required by the law that applies to you. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Technical logs are kept by our providers for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

The Service is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit who can access the information we hold. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep devices that hold your plan protected.

ReadyToWeddy is intended for adults planning a wedding and isn’t directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Our providers may process technical information in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to keep it protected in line with this policy.

We may update this policy as the Service changes, for example if we add accounts or analytics. We’ll update the effective date above, and for significant changes we’ll make the update clear on the site.
